Just needed to share my recent experience with this clinic which was the same as described in a previous review four months ago about how an annual preventative visit was also changed with a general office visit if the doctor talks to you about anything you actually need to talk about. When I asked what was outside the area of preventative care they basically mentioned everything I discussed with my doctor. The lab manager has some control issues she’s compensating for by ruining patients day. They require appointments for blood draws. They also ALWAYS charge for annual visits by citing “complaints were discussed”. So if you’re having your annual visit here don’t utter a word during the appointment unless you want to be charged hundreds for your annual. I like my doctor but everything else sucks. Unfortunately I can’t change providers because of my insurance coverage.
Last night I brought my 5 year old in about 30 minutes before closing because she fell and hurt her hand and wrist. They didn't rush and instead did X-rays, cleaned the wound and wrapped up her hand. Nobody wants to go to the ER, especially on a Friday night. They gave me peace of mind and were gentle and thorough. I really appreciate the staff at CHI Health Clinic on 161st and Maple. Thank you!
