Lakeside Hospital is an absolute joke. I went in for a kidney infection and they stuck an IV in my hand, took my blood and urine, then made me sit in the waiting room for over two hours — still hooked up to the IV. I was in pain, clearly sick, and they showed zero urgency or care. When I told them I was leaving, no one cared at all. I had to pull my own IV out because they wouldn’t even bother. This place has no compassion and no respect for patients.

I would avoid going to CHI as I had a bad experience with their billing department. They are not at all cooperative for the exuberant charges made by their vendor for splint provided after a fracture. Specially orthosource. Be warned they mark up their price by 70-80% of market price.

Went here last year because I had double pneumonia. Most of the staff were nice, but some didn’t seem to care. I had a fever and had trouble breathing. They gave me fluids and tylenol. They diagnosed me with the flu after I told them it definitely wasn’t that because I couldn’t breathe properly. Sent me home with nothing because my fever went down. The day later I went to get x-rays by a different doctor and it turned out I had double pneumonia. Some of my family and friends also didn’t have a great experience here too.

Was with my sister for a Gyno appointment at 2:30. We waited for just about an hour. Absolutely terrible place.
