My son with a TBI had a seizure on a friday evening and ended up staying on the 9th floor for observation & testing over the weekend. Must say I was blown away by the level of care we received from EMS pickup & through the ER. But once on the ward, service deteriorated into mediocrity. Since he also has a spinal cord injury, we expected turns every 2 hrs. Nope. Maybe every 4 hrs. (That's increasing the chances of skin ulcers.) At one point I had to help a nurse turn him myself, since no one was scheduled to help. And then, j... read more
Always had good care with them nurses and staff were friendly short wait times in the emergency room
