My chest had been hurting for 3 days. Finally, the pain was just too much and my wife took me to the ER at 2am on 5.18.26. I was taken straight back for an ECG and BP check. As soon as those vitals appeared, I was immediately put in a wheelchair and taken to some sort of OR prep room. That wheelchair ride took 30-45 seconds, yet there were already a team of people waiting for me. I was stripped down, put in a gown, laid on a bed, and the incredibly organized chaos began.
