My husband's cataract surgery was awful. First, the lens my husband has paid in full a week ago DID NOT arrive on the surgery day, as he was told. Also he wasn't alone; another male patient in the preparation room did not have his lens as well. Second, the supposed 2-3 hours surgery time plus preparation & some cushion time actually whole operation ended up to be an SEVEN HOURS ordeal, for both patient and care taker. Seven hours did NOT count any trip/travel time to/from patient's residence.
I just had cataract surgery done at this facility and I was very impressed by how efficient the staff was. Everything went very smoothly. I have to admit, the waiting room needs some definite updating and I initially thought I should run but I’m so happy I didn’t. Every staff member was so warm and welcoming. Knowledgeable, caring and personable. It took a total of 70 minutes. From the time I went back for prep to the time I was DC’d. Outstanding teamwork to make things run the way they did. The Service: Rima at the front office is the best! She is very polite and helpful. They always call a day before my appointment to remind me. Dr. Sarkisian is super sweet and efficient. She answers all my concerns. Before we started the procedure, she went over everything in detail and I felt very safe & have faith in her. The Parking: Street parking (free)
