I wanted to do pregnancy Pilates and was told I had to have a $200 consult in order to do that. They gave me an internal exam which was shocking and I did not ask for or want. I do not have any pelvic floor problems though they wanted to find this. I just wanted to do Pilates. Just because I’m pregnant doesn’t give you permission to touch me. My focus is on active recovery from shoulder tears in my right arm (my dominant side) and I am seeing Manuela Toneva. I have a history of a crushed L5 as a teenager. I developed severe osteoarthritis of my lumbar spine in my 60's. No relief with epidural steriod injections nor analgesia, including endone. I went to the Chevron Island Physio get some relief. My experience with Manuela has been truly remarkable, with dramatic improvement in my mobility.
