Do not ever use Chevelle. I gave Hazel a chance and she didn’t care about anything I said or asked. She made up tenants and bogus repair items. I didn’t get any rents each month like a normal company who is honest does send rents to the owner each month. I watched her do the wrong thing time and time again. She used my rents to pay her assistant and then lied on the 1099.
I was very accommodating to the delays as can be on the renovations but at the high commission and added fees it wasn’t worth it. Constant setbacks and layoffs with workers ended up costing me dearly. Vacancies from being off market and months to get what should have been a weekend job done cost me something north of $40k when it should have been around $20-25k tops. They don’t act on work/repair orders. When you lose hope and move out, they don’t give you your security deposit back, and do not even give a reason why (because there isn’t any legal reason to). If you’re thinking of renting from these crooks, DONT DO IT. You’ll be highly disappointed, if not completely pissed off (me).
