I had a great experience when I went for an eye test to get a second opinion. They took their time, explained everything thoroughly and listened to my concerns. I also received great advice when it came to selecting new glasses, helping me find a pair that really suits the shape of my face.
Having been with a big-brand optician for over 20 years, I moved to Chetty and Das last year, and can't recommend them highly enough. All of the staff are friendly, helpful and extremely professional. I am now wearing glasses that actually fit me(!) and lenses that are comfortable and perfect for my needs. They are a busy, family-run practice, and they always go out of their way to be accommodating and flexible. The service is warm, welcoming and, above all, personal.
Was told on the phone that they are dog friendly and that my dog could wait while I had my eye test done. Travelled two hours from Fife to make my appointment and was turned away. 0 Stars wouldn't shop here again if you paid me.
I visited Chetty & Das with an inflamed, very sore eyelid and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, they assessed the issue, recommended treatment, booked a follow-up phone call to check-in and a follow-up appointment in case it was needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them if you’re on the hunt for an optician. 5 stars.
