never responded to online requests for reservations We tried NUMEROUS times to reserve via their online request form, but never heard from them. We tried calling and the phone number was incorrect. We tried emailing and it got returned as undeliverable. DO NOT PUT YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER ON THEIR WEBSITE TO RESERVE ANYTHING!!!

Was not satisfied My husband and I recently drove to Boone this weekend to celebrate our 12th anniversary. We wanted a place that had a pool, hot tub, nice restaurant on site and where we could get a couples massage. I found this resort through the visitors center and called them. They told me over the phone that they had everything we were looking for. So I gave them our cc# and booked the king size suite. It is not what we expected when we check in. Amazing experience We LOVE Chetola. Our family stayed for a week over Christmas and enjoyed every single moment of it. They allowed us to have a Christmas tree and decorate and when the snow came, the kids were able to go sledding down the hills! We also stayed at Chetola for a family reunion and they were very accommodating when we needed to change one of the rooms because more family showed up and we want the units next to each other. WE LOVE CHETOLA!!! We bought the timeshare condo and have two weeks a year. We have been there 3 times so far. Our first weekend was Easter and I cooked dinner for my family including my brother and his family who lives 60 miles from Blowing Rock. The sink clogged twice because of the garbage disposal but we were able to get it fixed right away both times and Easter dinner was the best!!! I plan to try to book at least one week at Christmas one of these years because I think it will be magical with mine and their decorations... read more

hotel part is good – The hotel of this place is really nice and a GREAT place to stay, the resturant is one of the poorest examples of food service and quality I have ever seen, The Resturant manager should be shot for serving the trash that comes out of his kitchen!
