We lived in Chestnut Square for 3 years and don’t think we had a single complaint the entire time. Our 4th floor apartment was perfect and we enjoyed being right in the heartbeat of downtown with top notch amenities (breakfast, coffee machine, gym, pool, lounges). Everybody in the building was welcoming to us and always enjoyed my 1 off conversations with the neighbors. Chestnut Square is a great place to live in a good part of West Chester. The location is hard to beat—right downtown with restaurants and shops just steps away. The staff and maintenance team are very responsive, and the amenities are clean and well-maintained, which makes it feel like a true community. The downsides are that rent is on the higher side, it can be hard to get into since apartments don’t open up often, and you can sometimes hear neighbors walking above you. I moved in a couple of months ago and it has been such a warm, nice place, with the best staff. If I’ve had any issues at all (which was just a smoke detector that needed to be replaced) they were right on it and followed thru all the way until the next day to make sure I was happy with the service. This is a great place to call home!!
