Many years ago the owners had Fulton County designate the entire back section as 'public grounds' which means the owners now have no responsibility to maintain the area. It's now in deplorable shape and quite dangerous to visit due to fallen trees, crumbling ground and hundreds of sunken graves.

Remember driving through after a scary movie at Starlight and seeing sunken graves, toppled headstones in the woods. Scared hell out of me. Of course, i was 17 and it was 1978. I was curious if the place was still there. I cant remember ever going back again. Dirt road twisting through the woods? Hell no . I swear i heardthings. Anybodyshare a common experience?

My entire family is buried at this cemetery every time we go there we can never find any of their graves because they have sunken in and been buried my falling leaves and growing grass. Very sad not to be able to fully visit their graves but instead we have to visit the general area that they're in and leave flowers by a tree that sits in the middle of the area instead of at their grave sites.
