Assistants in Franklin The assistants in the Franklin office are the best. Not sure what office the other review was for but we have never had that feeling in Franklin. They are always on for my children. They are better to them than the doctors are, very reassuring and explain everything. Sometime when the doctor comes back and repeats the procedures after the assistant has already explained it makes me feel the doctor doesn't think the assistant is doing her job but we as a parent know that is not the case. Great Dentists, Rude Reception The dentists here are so great and the cleanings, too. They are so wonderful with children, too. The receptionists are SO rude and unfriendly it borders on humorous. They don't smile, aren't helpful and are so snobby!! Sometimes I wonder if the great dentists are worth the headache.
Reliable service, friendly dentists My dentists for over 15 years, this practice was always reliable. They created a child friendly atmosphere with toys and books, and always explained procedures in detail before actually going ahead with them. I had braces with this practice, and they were always available for to fix issues with my braces even if I did not have an appointment. PROS: Child friendly CONS:
Assistant with Attitude... I agree the dentists are great...but there is one dental assistant with such attitude. You will know who she is when she gives you the head to toe once over when you try to enter the room where your very nervous child will have his/her teeth drilled. She is in the wrong business! Do morgues need dental assistants??

just a number My two boys received all their dental care including orthodontics through Chestnut Dental Assoc. While the dentists and hygenists were excellent, the administrative staff was cold and impersonal. I was treated like I was just another number. My last encounter with them was when I was told there were no appts available for my son for unreasonable amount of time. I was changing him from the pediatric practice to the adult practice.
