Wow. We are Marylanders who relocated to Connecticut, and needed a Maryland crab fix. We called ahead and picked up crabs on the way back from OC while visiting Rock Hall family, to drive them back home to Connecticut. They were very large and very heavy # 1’s. And so sweet and delicious with perfect seasoning. Also bought fresh crab meat for crabcakes. Came out perfect also. Potato salad was yummy just like homemade but much easier. Thanks Chester River Crabs for always coming through for some displaced Eastern Shore folks!
Got a half bushel of crabs 2 weeks ago. Best hardshells we ever had. Hope to get back for more.
First time I had crabs there and I have to say they were heavy and sweet. I will definitely be going back. Staff was super friendly too!

Best seafood market Ive ever shopped at. Seafood is fresh, soft shell crabs are harvested on location. Cant get em any fresher then that. Good crabs reasonably priced. Great customer service. Thankyou Chester River Seafood.
Every other time we’ve ordered crabs here they have been incredible. However, yesterday we got crabs and for the first time were very disappointed. :( Every time I order I ask if the crabs are heavy or light. I was told they were heavy and looked good. Drove over an hour round-trip and arrived home with shelly light crabs that were full of water Which is why I assume the bag felt heavy when I pick them up and did not bother to look at them until after I got home.
