My car failed MD inspection so I decided to take it to John to get it fixed because when I called the shop, he didn't act rushed at all and took the time to give me a detailed estimate. The work was done in a timely manner and the way he walked me through various prices and options as to how to approach my numerous suspension issues put my mind at ease that the solution that he was recommending was not due to the money he would get paid, but rather, the good of the car.
This is the BEST place I have ever dealt with when it comes to car repair and diagnostics - nobody has ever been as honest and fair as John the owner. Can't say enough good things about Chester River Automotive - will continue to suggest to anyone who wants a great place for great service.

This shop took my van almost immediately and had it back in less than 24 hours and for the most reasonable price! They even took pictures of the cracked air tube and showed me! I'm always scared to get work done professionally, but this was a great experience especially right before christmas.
