I went in to the ER a few days ago. It was jammed pack, but the nurses and other staff handled it like pros. I’ve never seen an ER handled so efficiently! There was a wait of course (to be expected) but once they took me to the back they treated me like family. Hopefully I don’t have to return to the ER any time soon, but if I do this is where I’m going!

The most horrible experience. My niece is in excruciating pain and the response is sorry we can’t do anything about it. How long is the wait? We don’t know…

went in with heart symptoms wednesday night, EKG showed abnormal and they still wouldnt get me a bed. THERE IS NO HEALTHCARE HERE.

A patient comes to the ER because their condition is genuinely serious, yet after four and a half hours, the only thing done was a single scan; I was left waiting in pain in the waiting area for four hours. I told them I would leave and cancel the procedure if nothing was going to be done. They finally took me to a room, but there was no one to administer the IV; I waited another 45 minutes just for someone to come and hook it up. What a horrible experience. What made it worse the lack of care and compassion. I went to the ER around 9:45pm. It was packed. At check in, there was no privacy, so much for HIPPA. There was no place to sit, there were people shoved everywhere. I could barely walk and was hanging on to things not to fall. I was offered no assistance. Then went to the nurse’s station, and vitals were taken. I was crying in pain and shaking. I was offered an ice pack.
