My sister received the worst patient care on the Med/Surg unit! Doctors & nurses were mean to her & she was ignored a lot. No compassion whatsoever. They let her scream & cry in pain for HOURS almost everyday!!! She has Lupus, Neuropathy, & metastatic cancer (to name a few)! Diagnostic tests & other test results were not explained clearly to her. I brought a loved one to the hospital on the 27th of February, due to an emergency. He was seeing things that weren’t there , fell down and couldn’t tell me who the President was. So we was seen in the ER and the doctors said the he was going to give him fluids and he was going to be admitted. I left the ER came back in the morning he was strapped to the bed and he looked like he was half dead. I took the straps off and the diaper and asked why doesn’t he have any fluids.
