My wife and I had Ed come out to do a pre and post drywall inspection on our new home. Ed was very thorough and great to work with. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a home inspection to use them.
I hired Edwin Dunckley of Chester County Home Inspections to inspect both the home and the pool. The house was in good condition, but Edwin uncovered serious issues with the pool that saved me from a very costly mistake. He found a persistent leak caused by a crack running around the bottom perimeter of the pool. The crack had formed when groundwater lifted the pool after it was emptied, leaving it unlevel and causing only one skimmer to work at a time. Ed was a life saver. A large crack opened up in our ceiling right in front of our eyes one morning. Concerned about a potential structural issue, we contacted our HOA - only for them to do absolutely nothing. It took them nearly 5 days to come out. Realizing this, I decided to email Ed. Responsive. On time. inspection was disorganized. Would have learned more going out with family/friend. More time was spent chatting with realtor. Drone didn't work. No roof inspection. Didn't get through many areas of house even though didn't like 3-4 hours on the property. Spent 10 minutes talking about fireplace inserts. Fire place was never even turned on.
