From the very first visit of the model home Tracy was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. I think what stood out the most ws her genuine enthusiasm not just for the homes but for helping us find the right fit for US. She walked us through the process with clarity and patience. No Pressure, no jargon- just honest, helpful guidance. Even though we have not purchased yet when we do it will definitely be with TRACY!!!!
Where do I begin. We have lived in our Chesmar home for 3 years and in that time we have had to spend thousands of dollars fixing issues that they keep denying us under our warranty plan. Our roof got damaged due to water leaking into the downstairs bedroom. They denied it was a structural issue even after our insurance proved that the flashing was not installed properly. They even came out and tried to cover it up by putting a new flashing a shingles while we were at work. Our AC unit has had multiple problems including the... read more
DON'T DO IT! 3 years in and my home and my roof leaks BAD! I called Chesmar about the leak and was told "it'll dry right out". Doors knobs fell off, master bathroom toilet broke, caulking is all gone and sprinkler has bit the dust! If you want a low quality, half built home for a lot a money, where you fear falling through the floor daily, the Chesmar Homes is the builder for you. For me, NEVER AGAIN!
Chesmar Homes advertise about higher standards but their homes are of the lowest quality. They use cheap materials and extremely negligent and irresponsible contractors. Chesmar's resources who should be responsible for maintaining quality and overseeing jobs done by contractors are not bothered to pay a visit during the construction process. I would give Chesmar zero stars if I could. Chesmar does not stand behind their work. I had workers out to install gutters and they discovered that a metal water diverter Chesmar had placed above the front porch had pushed water back under shingles, creating mold, deterioration and a fist-sized hole in roof planking. Even though my home is still under the structural warranty, Chesmar will not do anything to fix it because they say the warranty against water leaks is only one year. This is not a water leak issue.
