Cheshire Barber Shop keeps it simple: You get a good haircut at a reasonable price, in excellent company. Despite the misleading name (Cheshire Barber Shop moved across the border to Hamden years ago), Maria carries on a local family tradition started by her late father generations ago. She's pleasant, and careful, and she's great with our 4-year-old. Can't recommend highly enough.
Been here 10+ times. Prior to that, used to get haircuts from her father, Joe, when I was a kid. Always does a good job + quick, efficient, friendly.
Got one of the best haircuts from Mary! I Was out of town needed a hair cut and just took a chance and stopped in. My hair is difficult to cut and I'm fussy she got it perfect and was very fast! Thank you Mary! Will be seeing you soon!
Maria is the best. She takes her time and always delivers a great haircut. The environment is spacious, clean, and relaxed. Highly recommended.
