Worst hospital in town ! They make it very difficult & a big deal for a patient to get discharge from the hospital , but they don't make it a big deal to make sure patients are cared for properly during their stay here . When you press the call bell sometimes they don't bother to answer & when they do answer they take a long time to come . The night time staff act like they don't want to help either . If I could give zero stars I would. I came to this hospital looking for care. I did not get it. They failed me in every way. I will never go to this heartless emergency room again.

Military families don’t come here. I passed out hit my head got a laceration and needed my husband to come off deployment with Red Cross so our small daughter would have someone to care for her. The nurses told the Red Cross I wasn’t emergent enough. Mind you I can’t drive for 6months legally and can’t cook because I passed out while cooking. I spent over 12hrs here and I asked for water several times and no one allowed me to have or brought me a meal. I had to keep asking for nausea medicine and the doctor was telling nurse... read more

Absolutely the worst experience ever! After spending 10 hours in the ER with my daughter for a broken wrist, I end up getting billed twice for the same vist, one from the hospital and then one from the doctors. Never experienced this before in my life and I’ve gone to Sentara and CHKD ER’s. Not only did we get billed twice for the same visit, we were charged far more than I’ve ever been charged before.
