RecommendedDr West is awesome along with all the other staff. Very friendly and professional staff.
This medical practice has an automated call system contacting people early on a Sunday morning, to advise of their COVID-19 restrictions and procedures. We are no longer patients, but are apparently still in their contact database. Three calls came to us, before 9:30am. If they cannot manage something as simple as a list of contacts, I wonder how they are at keeping track of important medical records? Do you trust people who are mismanaging your personal information?
I don't know if they can be improved...my experience with this practice has become a death sentence...I was seen by Chesapeake Internists from 2001 to 2018....with all the labs they did and I paid for, no one ever mentioned concern for my A1C...in 2018 I fired them, when I was rushed to the hospital with an A1C of 1475, and was told that if I'd been 12 hours later, I would have died...I fired them that night....now I have heart problems and an aneurysm in my aorta, and the cardiologist I'm seeing pulled a CT scan Chesapeake ... read more
doctor Terry is the best and all of the nurses are wonderful as well. if you want excellent care that is were you need to be.
They are the best! I see Dr. Higgens, she is always caring and follows up on everything you need.

Everyone here is friendly and professional. I love that when I see my Dr. you can tell he has already thoroughly read my chart instead of waiting till he walks in to skim it. Dr. West has been a favorite of my family for many years!!
I recommend Chesapeake Internists to all my friends. I have been with Dr. West for a long time and Mrs. Beth, you are always there for walk-in when I am sick. I love everyone there.
