This place sold me a lemon. When I purchased the car in 2009 the undercarraige and engine appeared very clean ( Although there was rust on the heatshield ). The car had 30 thousand miles and was a 98 Sentra. Too good to be true and it was. I had nothing but various electrical problems, and finally had enough in 2014 and traded it in. I was disgusted after all this was a Nissan. One thing I did not notice when I bought this is that in the front fender there were many leaves stuck in there. Now this car May have been underwate... read more

Good Cars – I've bought 2 Toyota Camrys from Richard over the years and both were excellent vehicles. Each was about 8 years old when purchased, so they had miles on them. I found Richard to be very helpful and fair in his dealings with me. The 98 Camry I bought in 2005 had about 50K miles on it and it just hit 200K with no problems. I just had the timing belt and water pump replaced last week. I bought it from Richard around blue book value.

No problems here.... – It took only a week to find, test drive, purchase and pick up our '97 Accord. But the cars that Richard has are all low miles, and from what research I've been able to do, pretty decent cars at a very good price point. I compared to local dealers inventory, and CAB was lower in price, and the miles on the cars were lower as well. The cars are MD inspected, and if something needs to be fixed he fixes it. CAB only stocks about 10 cars at a time but they also do special searches for clients as well. I rec... read more

Chespeake Auto Buyers is an Unsatisfactory Business. – Same promlem as the previous reviewer. Richard Fanzo attempted to cheat me out of over 5,000 dollars, bounced checks to my bank and sold me a lemon vehicle. All calls were unanswered and I had to involve a lawyer. He also sold a car to another person I know with a lean on the title and dirty vehicle registration. These guys are scetchy. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.

Buyer Beware! – I had a very unsatisfactory experience with Chesapeake Auto Buyers. I purchsed a1997 Mazda from Richard Franzo. Three months after buying the car I have yet to receive a title for the car with no explanation from the owner of the business. He also failed to submit the warranty paperwork and two months from buying the car, the motor blew. My calls go unanswered and I get no response from the owner.
