I grew up in Ashland, Kentucky and love the C&O. The excellent newsletter and books, as well as the memorabilia bring back some great memories! And the staff is very attentive to special requests, even ones as strange as a request for a box of C&O coal. Thanks to all!!

A board member of COHS likes to libel and defame other preservation organizations. I can’t believe this organization affiliates itself with such unprofessional behavior, let alone condones it.

I love the history of this railroad! Two of my three Great Grandfathers were engineers in Michigan on this line. The other was NYC. The history here is amazing and awe inspiring. Especially for a model railroader like myself. I too was able to see the Chessie System basically in my backyard almost every day growing up. This helps take me back and also gives me historical insight to my HO scale layout. 😊♥️
