Have loved them for years! I worked for Ches Anthony for four years during my college life and I want to first say they are such a nice family and group of people to work with. Also, they are a catering company, you can’t rent them. They prepare, deliver and serve food. They provide servers and bartenders. . .last time I checked they did not own any halls. While I worked for them, I catered in both St. Pamphilis and The Wendell Inn and I assure you both are air conditioned, I worked in the summer months in between semesters.... read more
Made our event special! Ches Anthony catered our son’s graduation a few weeks back. We would recommend them to anyone! The managers were easy to deal with at the planning stage, the price was very affordable and our service was beyond expectations. Everyone at our party had a blast!
The best food around! – I work for a company that uses Ches-Anthony to cater our office events. They’re service has been outstanding. I am the one in charge of the planning and I never have to worry about food for the party! They always help me put together my menu and the food is always a success. My Wedding – We had our wedding one year ago at St. Saint Pamphilus. We had a fantastic time! The food was amazing and the hall was nice as well. The catering staff was exceptionally accommodating (and my family has some major allergies) and nice. The cost was also reasonable. Fun, Fun, Fun – My husband and I attended a wedding last summer at the Wendel Inn. We found the hall to be exquisite, luxuries and unique. The building itself is breath taking. A few weddings we attended last year were hot and cramped but this hall have plenty of space for guest to move around and of course dance! This was one of the nicest weddings we have ever attended. We ate, drank and danced the night away!
wedding at Saint Wendelin's – We attended the Colasante/Chiodo wedding on May 23 and have never been so appalled at the discomfort afforded the guests! The heat in that building was sooo oppressive that people left immdediately after dinner. Needs Air Conditioning Dont rent this place.While the food was good.The Bartenders were great.The A/C doesnt work.Chez Anthony LIES when they advertise A/C.They hand everyone the line its not working today.Dont ruin your Wedding day with a temperature that can be so repressive that it is down right dangerous.The room tempature hovered in the mid 90!!!!!!!!!.Guest had to leave early.Shame Chez Anthony,what a disgrace.
I see why they have so many awards Ches Anthony Catering First class company, food was great & display (ice carving watermelon carvings) made me feel like I was on a cruise. Prices are fair an got more than expected. Highly recommend. Carol from Ches Anthony was outstanding couldn't ask for more.
This review is for specifically for the Wendel Inn hall that Ches Anthony's does the catering for. Pros: The Wendel Inn is a beautiful hall. Ches Anthony's does the catering for the hall & their food is very good. Cons: The hall is not handicapped accessible. The air conditioning system needs to be updated or replaced. It seems to be that if the temperature outside is very hot outside then the HVAC system shuts down and won't come back on.
