Love De Winchell but her staff are terrible never answer phones or return calls I’m going to have to change Dr’s unfortunately
Dr. Winchell is very thorough and compassionate
Love Dr. Winchell and her staff, but the reception area is awful. I have called several times for three different reports, they never seem to have them, and never call back. I leave messages for the doctors to call me back to change medication and that never happens. Its scary and inexcusable.
The turnover in this office is enormous! Either they're hiring incompetent employees, or not paying enough, or perhaps it's just an unpleasant place to work. ?? Dr. Winchell and her staff of medical professionals always are pleasant and knowledgeable. The front office staff, other than Suki, are reliably incompetent and unpleasant.
This DR discussed personal medical information about her patient “my husband,” to a mutual friend. Isn’t this an HIPPA ACT—seems to me she violated the law. Not to mention their staff was very unprofessional when a hospital visit was needed for an EEG-strangely there was no order for it! Their (DR’s excuse was...Oh... we’re in the process of changing our computer systems. What a waste of time for him to go! As well a waste of time to go see Winchell!
My mother loves Dr Winchell but can not stand the staff and their lack of calling patients back with any information. She is always told someone would call her and they will never call, my mother has to call. So because of this my mother is seeking a new Dr despite her feelings for Dr Winchell
Dr. Winchell has been my primary care physician for about 5 years. She has excellent overall knowledge plus a desire to heal issues, and keep her patients healthy. If there is any complaint about her, it is that she sometimes takes extra time with sick patients, so I need to wait a little long (10-15 minutes) for her.
