My 3 year old son was going through a big change in his life and so was I as a parent. We were referred and kept up with our appointments. My son was struggling in his own fast working mind, something I would of never been able to understand myself without the help of such a experienced professional. I was referred to her thru my eap. I was surprised at her age and felt we couldnt relate. Felt like i was talking to my grandma about substance probs. After i told her very personal stuff, she THEN informed me she couldnt help me unless i brought in my wife. That is out of tge question. She doesnt understand my life. My relationship is not good snd was a separate issue. I wasnt there for marriage councelling. She could have told me that would be required before i splilled my guts.
