Dr Bailey has followed me for 3 years following my diagnosis of uterine cancer. She is knowledgeable and I feel like she always puts my personal and best interests first.
I saw Bailey for exploratory/biopsy around 2006 because of fibroids. She wanted to give me a complete hysterectomy which I declined. Right before surgery she asked if I wanted a hysterectomy again, I declined again and she said " I dont know why all you women want to hang on to your uteruses" and said that I "can limp along to menopause." I thought she was crass, rude, and hysterectomy happy. And she said I had cancer after my first exam, no biopsy.
I had phase 1 uterine cancer and was scared as cancer has taken many from my family. Dr. Bailey was able to calm my fear to a great degree, then removed the cancer. Very grateful!
