I felt like a piece of meat on a conveyor belt. I literally had to call her to me after my emergency c section to say thank you for delivering my son. She had no intention of coming to me or checking in on me. My sister experienced the devastating loss of her baby. This physician's came by during rounds at the hospital (not her usual OB) and our experience was deeply disappointing. During an already unimaginable and traumatic time, she needed compassion, support, and sensitivity. I was a patient of Dr. Serr’s for my first (and only) pregnancy. As a new mom I was hoping to feel comfortable and heard by my OB. That just wasn’t the case. Dr. Serr takes on way too many patients and often came into my appointment after a 24 hour shift at the hospital. This bothered me because I felt rushed in and out due to her exhaustion. Don’t take your girls here especially if they have panful periods or heavy bleeding. Horrid, absolutely scarring experiences. Speechless seeing Serr is still practicing. Be careful who you open up to about your experience (medical staff absolutely included, including your GP/primary care office) regardless of how much the pressure you. Blacklisting your name in this area is common, according to numerous people’s shared experiences, and it is a medically desolate area.
