I signed a lease with Cherrywood August of 2024 and was forced to stay 13 months due to a flea infestation & poor lease writing. Lauren is an absolute nightmare to work with and is the most unreasonable & vindictive person I’ve ever rented from. (My experience was as a potential tenant, tours houses to rent) Cherrywood has been one of the most professional and kind staff to work with! I have been trying to get a hold of and tour many places, but am often met with lack of communication and disorganization. Not with Cherrywood! They were quick and clear communicators, and very kind. If I could rate Cherrywood and Lauren higher than five stars I would. I moved from out of state. Cherrywood was the only company that actually showed up to viewings I had scheduled, THEN Lauren showed me around to other properties that may have worked with my budget and preferences. Here's the kicker, I ended up taking a different property that Cherrywood was not affiliated with and Lauren still kept up with me to make sure I found exactly what I wanted. My mom rented from Cherrywood for a year. We went and got the key for her first and went to look at the house and it was GROSS. Pee on the toilet, the light in the dining room was hanging from a wire, dust everywhere, crumbs and gunk in the kitchen, one room had a weird smell and the ceiling fan in the living room was set to high speed but no remote in sight.
