I have been through both a purchase and a refinance with Cherry Creek Mortgage and they were fantastic each time. They were attentive and responded to all of my (many) questions in a timely fashion. My real estate agent also mentioned that Cherry Creek Mortgage has a strong reputation among the real estate community and she prefers to work with clients who use this company. 8.5.6

I’ve just been informed my loan was sold to BSI Financial a couple of weeks after closing with Cherry Creek. What a nightmare. CCMC does neither care about nor vet where your loan goes after closing. BSI Financial is a predatory loan servicer with the worst reviews and experiences I have EVER seen on CFPB and Consumer Affairs. They’ve even had to pay fines for their predatory practices, but they have NOT changed their ways. It pays to be a shark. Don’t refinance with CCMC. Loan immediately transferred to "servicer" NO working website, available by telephone only, but you must leave a message to be returned within 24 hours. Guess what? They don't call. So, no website and no humans available for contact. You do the math. Designed to avoid contact, and to create problems, usually resulting in penalties either because of claimed tardy payments, no payments at all, or escrow issues (property taxes and insurance). How do they earn that A+ rating, BBB?
