I had an appointment to see Dr. Cockrell today because I have been having agonizing back pain for the past 2 weeks and wanted to discuss bariatric surgery and other lifestyle changes. I filled out all the pre-check-in paperwork online and got there 12 minutes early. My boss gave me a hard time for taking the hour off at all and I had to drive there in a car with no air conditioning at 97 degrees. I’m honestly shocked there’s ANY negative reviews for this doctor. I’ve seen quite a few doctors the past few years and only a couple seemed to still have any sort of passion for medicine. Dr. Cockrell is friendly, straightforward, attentive, and intelligent. I can tell she takes her job seriously and she wants to get results and help the patient. Seeing this know it all was excruciating. Every time I said something she knew better and told me I was wrong. Talked down to me as if I were a small child. She has no respect for me and I will not waste my time seeing this de-lu-lu again.
Dr. Cockrell has tried harder to help me than any other medical professional has over the past several decades. She’s absolutely driven and passionate. So very blessed to have came across her
