Requested specialized work for HVAC and was told by the contractor that the job would be simple and I would probably receive a quote the next day because my team is in a rush to get the lab set up. Did not receive a quote until I had to call asking for it three business days later, only to find out that the job is not something they are confident in doing (which I can understand, but at the very least, let me know instead of me having to wait and call in to find out).
