My back pain after I went to get treat DR Chen no more feel happy
I'm extremely disappointed in the service I received at Chen's Acupuncture Massage Center in Portland, Oregon. As a patient, I expect a certain level of care and professionalism, but unfortunately, my experience fell short. During the acupuncture treatment, the practitioner failed to follow basic sanitation protocols. Not only did I have to ask for hand sanitizer, but more concerningly, the practitioner didn't sanitize my skin before inserting the needles. I am a loyal patron. This guy knows what he is doing. I don't know if I believed in acupuncture before. I'm all about holistic medicine, and this is where it's at. He's been at it for years, he's a serious pro, and most the time I end up falling asleep because I'm so relaxed. Kudos to Mr. Chen and his adorable little wife who helps you at the front desk. There is a slight language barrier, but you figure it out pretty quick
I used to suffer from upper body- neck and shoulder and my lower back which really affect my leg. Now, I’m healing!
Fat Shaming! After several weeks of loyalty, Dr. Chen put me on the scale and then tried to sell me shapewear. I guess I was too fat for him? Fat shaming is a deeply traumatic and unsupportive of health for anyone. I am definitely not returning to this place. Seeking out a TCM practitioner that understands how harmful fat phobia can be.
