Terrible doctor. Terrible bedside manner, no social skills whatsoever. Killed my mother with unnecessary surgery which, resulted in her death. Did not explore other alternatives or present them to my parents
Dr. Hu performed three colonoscopies for me, as well as a colon resection and rectopexy. He is not only knowledgeable and skillful but displays a tremendous amount of compassion in his bedside manner. He is always cheerful and smiling. He truly cares about his work and his patients. While sitting in the waiting room of his office for my last follow-up appointment, another patient stated, "He is the best!" My reply......."He truly is!"
Dr. Hu has that great combination of excellent surgical knowledge and skills along with heartfelt concern for the patient that is hard to find. He is a warm, kind individual whose office staff guided me expertly through the preoperative diagnostic testing and approvals to the postoperative care and followup.
Recently had colon surgery with Dr Hu. At my first office visit he spent quite a bit of time explaining what needed to be done. The care I received by him in the hospital was also excellent. He is board certified and his reputation speaks for itself. When considering a surgeon, Dr Hu is the best around. His office staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.
My family doctor recommended Dr. Hu, but I also determined, by the reviews, that he was a good choice. I highly recommend him.
I cannot even begin to express my gratitude to Dr. Hu and his staff! I received excellent care. His willingness to go the extra mile, a smiling face everyday after surgery, and someone who truly cares about the well being of his patients. I cannot thank Dr. Hu enough, for his kindness, and skills as a top notch surgeon! He is the best in his field!
Dr. Hu and was extremely friendly and caring. He explained the procedure in detail before and after to help us better understand what we needed to expect. His staff is amazing, especially Carrie!

For those of you who rate Dr. Hu less than 5....you should have had experience with a surgeon like my original surgeon that left me totally confused and in the dark about my previous surgery. I found Dr. Hu in moving to Florida, and am so glad that I did, he explains everything and is a wonderful, kind, direct, extremely knowledgeable surgeon. I am so very lucky to have found him. His staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. When you find excellence where your health is concerned.
