Dr. Chen and the office staff are not helpful and only worried about billing insurance. I was prescribed medication by Dr. Chen in 2014, the medication works for my circumstances, however they will not refill it stating that they have to see me before they refill it. Holding a patient hostage for their medication is going against the hippocratic oath in order to bill insurance.
The doctor is quick to state her opinion and does not let you speak. I was not given an opportunity to ask my questions during the yearly checkup
shes been my pcp for a little of a year. anytime i have a problem, she refers me to specialist that are not cheap. I go to the specialist, they dont understand why im there bc my problem could be handled by a pcp. she wants to come in tell you your fine, leave, get paid. I've never felt so let down by a doctor. shes left me on read for 3+ weeks before a few times actually. when she does respond its like 3 words and it gives the impression she couldn't care less. she woudlnt let me explain my symptoms. My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Chen for over ten years. Dr. Chen has been extremely good at handling emergency situations, last year we were out of town and I forgot a medication I take daily, Dr. Chen immediately sent a RX to a pharmacist located very close to our vacation spot. Dr. Chen is very thorough and knowledgeable in handling our medical needs. We highly Dr. Chen who is a credit to the medical profession.
I saw this doctor as my pcp wasn’t available and I had the most unprofessional experience. I made an appointment for painful throat on upper left radiating to left ear, suspicious of strep throat based on my own Nursing & motherhood experience. This doctor, upon entering, as soon as I shared that I have sore throat for past 3-4 days but it is worst today, I am negative for covid, I am vaccinated, no other symptoms—she said, ‘ I am not sure why you are here. I feel very fortunate and grateful for having Dr. Chen as my family doctor. She takes patients' concerns seriously, and truly cares about her patients. She is very knowledgeable, thorough, and compassionate. I highly recommend her!
Dr Chen is very helpful, willing to listen to patient and to do extra check. I like her professional attitude toward patient. She is the right doctor I want to visit.
She misdiagnosed me and sent me home without any medication, do not throw your money in the garbage. Terrible Doctor.
She was our family PCP for two years. Never had a problem with her (though some of thr nurses never smiled). Would use again.
