Do not assume that your tile or stone needs to be sealed. Porous stones will accept sealer, while ceramic and porcelain will absorb no moisture at all and therefore do not require sealer.
Wipe down all of the shower walls with a squeegee then a towel after use. This removes water & soap scum before they dry. This works best for tile or stone.
Put on a slightly damp rubber glove or use a damp towel and run your hand over your upholstered furniture to remove pet hair or make it easier to pick up with a vacuum cleaner.
If possible, rotate and flip furniture cushions occasionally to spread out the wear and tear on them and prolong the life of your furnishings.
Sun fading is very common. It can affect the appearance and also weaken the fabric and make your upholstery fabric or leather very brittle. Faded leather can be restored while upholstery fabric cannot
