Incredibly pleased with the care received from Dr. Zimmerman and staff. We have been going to Children's and UAB Endo for my daughter but wanted to stay closer to home. Dr. Zimmerman's bedside manner was wonderful, she promptly went over lab results with us and sent in a new script immediately. Thorough and effective communication!
I could go on forever about Dr. Zimmerman! She truly cares about her patients, she takes time to know them, and goes out of her way to make sure they are comfortable. Even with the amount of people she sees everyday, she is prompt in making sure prescriptions are renewed, emails are answered, etc. She is hands down the best Pediatric Endocrinologist we have ever seen. Honestly the best Dr. we've ever seen in general. Love her!
Very nice and professional. She cares about her patients and takes her time with them. I would recommend her to anyone that needs an endocrinologist.
We live about an hour away but Dr. Zimmerman was recommended to us by a friend. My teen daughter has been fighting heavy periods, most for 3 months non-stop, then no periods, weight gain, etc. She's seen an OB/GYN who quickly put her on birth control to control the symptoms, and while there's a place and time for that and that may be the ultimate thing for her, Dr. Zimmerman researched my daughter like nobody has done.
