I've been working with Chelsea Arts for about 14-15years now. The knowledge, customer service and guidance is superb. I truly love how Alison and Ilene can both apply their artistic visualization to any project and bring it to life. Whether it's commercial or residential, it's a true gift they both have! Highly recommend!!
Would not recommend going there unless you want to be yelled at by the owner who essentially just wants your money and for you to let her tell you what you want/need. Doesn’t like you to look around - will say she has hundreds of not thousands of products and you can’t possibly look at all of them..this is after you have looked at 5 different choices. As a designer it is always such an added benefit to collaborate with professionals that not only know products but also trends. I renovated my Brooklyn duplex apartment Fall 2019 - mid March 2020 so you can imagine the stress towards the end (COVID, ahem). Alison and Ilene at Chelsea Arts were beyond helpful in the process. I spent way too long in the showroom (ADHD type here) but Alison helped me navigate it all and let my own imagination steer the ship. My architect was a complete (talented) nightmare and Chelsea Arts also navigated him deftly and helped get him to agree to a chevron pattern walk in shower, among other things.
