Wonderful office. All the staff are polite, friendly and patient.The equipment is up to date and clean. The automated appointment system is fantastic and includes calendar links and reminders. Dr. Lahey is the best. I don't want to go anywhere else.
Very poor business ethics. I was sold brand-name glasses that were advertised as top-of-the-line, but they turned out to be low quality. The screws frequently needed tightening. After I complained, I was given a cheaper replacement, yet I was still charged despite having already paid a significant amount upfront. To make matters worse, the remaining balance was sent to collections after I called the office to try and resolve it. This has been one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had with any practice.
I have always had a great experience at Chelmsford Optometric Associates. And my Neurolens glasses have been life-changing. I threw away all my cheater glasses as I can read better with the one and only one pair of glasses I wear all day. While they were not cheap, I’m entering my third year with the same pair.
I received a text on Oct 21st asking me to confirm my appointment with Dr. Lahey ( who is great). It said my appointment was at 8:00am on Nov 22. I replied with “Y” and received a message thanking me for confirming. Arrived at 8:00 this morning and was told Dr Lahey does not work on Saturday. This is not the first time I have had issues with communication and follow through with this office. It appears to me that it is does not have a well organized business manager. Wonderful experience from start to finish! The pediatric eye doctor has an incredible way with children—my son took to her immediately. The staff is helpful, professional, and they seem to genuinely enjoy being there. A great environment for kids!
