best mexican food in oklahoma city – i have lived in oklahoma city for 25 years and chelinos is hands down the best mexican food in the country i have been to vegas to texas to seattle no body beats chelinos a close second is teds escandito on 68 and north may ave in oklahoma city thanks
Not impressive – Just another loud, bland, overpriced restaurant with poor service. Mindless Oklahomans who don't know what Mexican food tastes like make this place very busy. I know they owners are Mexican, but I seriously doubt they eat this stuff at home!
One of the first restaurants in Bricktown, Chelinos has been a favorite destination for years now. It is great fun to sit outside and look out on the Riverwalk and enjoy a Margarita and their consistantly good food. Reasonable prices and excellent service.
Mmm...Chelino's I recently went to Chelino's Mexican Restaurant for the first time and I must say that I look forward to returning. The lunches were delicious at an average $7.00 mean from the luncheon specials. The specials had alot to fill an average person up including chips with salsa and cheese, homemade tortillas, your main meal (I ordered a flauta), sides, and a sopapilla (which is a sweet, sugar covered pastry, somewhat like a donut, that you eat with honey...not for dieters). Perfect! The best queso I can find in this area!!! The service is top notch as well. I could go back and just eat their chips and queso and have a margarita or two.
