Overall very solid Shanghainese food. The Dongpo pork was a standout, but most everything was good. Service was not the best, but understandable as they were quite busy on a Friday night and we were a large table that arrived way late for our reservation. The food came out super fast though, which we very much appreciated.
We try to visit Chef Zhao’s every time we are in or near Palo Alto. The food never disappoints. Today we took our food to-go, and ate in the outdoor seating area of the shopping center.
