The meal was just as expected...delicious and expertly prepared. But I must mention the dessert. Hubby had the buttermilk sorbet, myself the lemon semifreddo. The bayleaf meringue atop the semifreddo, unreal!!! The service was impeccable. Great evening!

I don't toss Stars around lightly but everything was spot on from the locally brewed bottle of beer, to the steak tartare to the Chef's creative twist on a Caesar salad like none other I've ever had before. Can't wait to do it again in two weeks when I'm back in the area on business. I highly recommend this dining destination to Amy hard core foodies within 3 hours of Kinston as it would make a great day trip.

Truly amazing dining experience the food,service,& ambience are exceptional. We were vacationing in the area and decided this to be on our must do list despite the travel time to make it work Best decision ever We watch the TV series and it is was way more than we expected. We tried things that we never thought we would like and they were exceptional i.e. Sweet potato pizza as an appetizer flat out delicious ! Food was great! Staff was horrible-we were told by our waiter that they were out of 3/6 entrees as retaliation after our friend voiced displeasure, to the owner, Ben, about being seated 45 min. after our reservation after driving for an hour an a half! The waiter confirmed this. The waiter also confirmed that our friend made him cry & that if he wasn't working, he would've have punched him. Unbelievable! At least they comped our dinner...Horrible experience! Don't waste your time!
