The shop features cheeses from the United States, France, Italy, Spain, England, Ireland, Greece and Switzerland as well as an impressive selection of charcuterie and gourmet condiments. Stopped by on my way home from the airport last night for the Meet the Cheese Makers Cheese tasting event. Mallory Sofferin from Sweet Grass Dairy was there explaining how their rotational grazing farming process produces the cow’s milk used to make their very flavorful artisan cheeses in South Georgia. I tasted and purchased both the award winning Green Hill Camembert style and the Thomasville Tomme Pyrenees style cheeses. Loved them both. Thank you Jill for hosting Mallory and her cheeses Friday night.

And....what a selection of cheese....many that you hav... read more

Thank you so much for the kind words, Kathy! I will make sure to pass this along to Scott D. Freestone - he was your monger, as well as our amazing Front of House Manager. So glad you had a great experience in the restaurant and the shop! -Jill (owner, Cheesetique)
Cheesetique is a wonderful place - always great meals, will curated wine selections and the cheese, well the cheese is wonderfully varied, fairly priced and the staff is so knowledgeable. I consider this to be the most dangerous store on Mt Vernon Avenue - can never escape without several kinds of cheese. Highly recommend the Merlot Bellavitano, the Grayson, the Young Manchego, the smoked chili cheddar, the ... well you get the picture. I've had some that I liked less than others, but never a bad cheese there.
Business response:
