The owners of this gym quickly and tactlessly cut the Cheerabilities program for the special needs team. These are cheerleaders that don't have other options for cheer and who look forward to this program more than most others. I did not feel that including our special needs children and giving them an equal opportunity as the other cheerleaders was a priority for the owners. Unfortunately for my daughter a special needs cheer abilities member we had our program cancelled at the beginning if competition season by the owners of gym and basically shown the door. Ti best if my knowledge it's because our program didn't generate a profit. I sincerely hope that isn't the case for all involved. If there isn't room at that gym for disabled athletes then it isn't the gym for my family. I'm deeply saddened by the way my daughter and her team mates were treated.
