Insurance was active at the time of the appointment and visit. Now being told that insurance is showing that it was terminated back on the first of the month. Also being told that it falls on the patient but not the representative who verified eligibility upon booking the appt and during the appt. It shouldn’t fall back on the patient at all. That’s something that the front desk receptionist should’ve rechecked during check in at my appt.

I cannot thank Dr.Chee-Awai enough for his care. He provided excellent care during my pregnancy and successfully delivered my baby vaginally. He was incredibly supportive of my birth plan while ensuring both me and my baby stayed safe. His professionalism and calm guidance during labor made a world of difference. The office staff is also wonderful. I highly recommend him to any expectant mother.

I was referred to Dr. Chee-Awai about November of 2025, I was seen immediately he responded to all my concerns and always made sure I understood what he would tell me. January 2026 I had my laparoscopic surgery which he was the one who performed it, I had no complaints! He’s an amazing Dr. He has a great team working with him, Hannah his secretary is such a nice person who also communicates and is responsive to any questions.
