It took me 10 weeks to get a consult, another 6 weeks to get a sleep test.I came to the sleep test, but felt ill, left, and went right to the nearby BRRH ER.I tried to reschedule and got No call back from the desk after 10 days.I then called again, got the answering service and she said she would relay my message to the desk.I got no call back again, so I called and spoke to 'Sheila' to make another sleep appointment.Instead she offered me several times for the regular consult appointment - the NEXT day!What? A very practical approach, listens to you, explains, and teaches you about Sleep Disorders. Great care.
The Dr. Is very knowledgeable and friendly. His lab was state of the art and he was highly recommended by several friends.
I was a patient of Dr. Chediak for several years. He was always very good. However, I moved and have a new doctor and have been requesting my sleep study for over 3 months- faxed a written request and his office still has not cooperated. His office always has an answering service. My only complaint over the years was that in his waiting room you were forced to endure the lies on Fox “news” which was so outrageous in itself. My experience with him has always been great, both with him and his staff.
His office staff is RUDE and INADEQUATE. I was sent to his office by a cardiologist in the same building. When I went into the office the receptionist told me that she cannot talk to me because I do not have an appointment and that I need to call for an appointment. I went to the parking lot and called from my cell phone. She told me that she could not talk to me at that time and to call back. When I called back she offered me an appointment for December 8. WOW- HORRIBLE RUDE staff. I suspect a Medicare SCAM since he will not even accept Private Pay or cash payment or wire upfront. Plenty of other great neurologists. South Florida is a big place.
Great doctor. HORRIBLY DISGUSTING STAFF. I left the doctor SOLEY because his staff is so unhelpful, rude and disgusting. I will never go back. They won't even give me my records, which by the way, is required by law.
