Sept 2026 update: twice I've been here, and twice I wished I'd saved my money and calories for somewhere else. Old grease, slow service, a burger that literally tasted like fish. I won't be back to this checkers location. Prior review: Outside seemed clean. There was a skeleton crew (I counted 2 people) on Tuesday at about 545pm, but the food I ordered on the app was ready when I arrived. I've been standing at the window for about 15mins they know I'm here but won't take my order worried about the drive threw, or because I'm white they seem to have horrible attitudes
I have always loved Checkers! This one made me never want to eat it again... The kid was rude, the bread is wrong and it looked like they threw my buford in a salad spinner because all of the toppings were there but in the wrapper instead of the burger. Also burger patties were cold and red - I'm quite sure they forgot to cook it... Fries were fresh and amazing though!
Horrible experience. I have only been to checkers once I thought tonight. Why not try it out again? The usual place I like to go 2 was too busy and card reader is not working. I'm a GM in the fast food world so I'm very familiar with everything that goes on within the industry. I came here ordered in the drive through. And was ordered to go to a completely different lane for pickup, for fresh food. Understandable, chicken, it's fried Fresh but sadly we ended up wsiting absurdly long.
