Best haircut around, nice decor, good products – For a sophisticated yet stylish haircut these guys do it best. I've been going here on and off for about six years- periodically I'll try out other popular salons but I keep going back to Maksou for consistently excellent cuts. I'm not a fan of the location (financial dist.) since i live in back bay but worth the trip every time. Highest recommendation.

love it – Simply the best cut and color i have EVER gotten. I could not be more thrilled and the price was definitely affordable. Luz and Janice were wonderful and no one was snotty or uptight. I felt like a million bucks walking out of there.
Best Eyebrow Wax – A young girl named Arlene waxed my eyebrows last week (second time I've ever had this done, but I was in a wedding that upcoming weekend so I thought I'd go and get them cleaned up). Not only was Arlene extremely pleasant, but the makeup artist for the bridal party couldn't stop gushing about how perfectly shaped my eyebrows were and I ended up having a group of 10 girls around me discussing how great they looked! I never knew an eyebrow wax could make such a difference! I definitely recommend Arlene!
bad haircut, brown toner over blonde highlights – One of the worst haircuts I ever got (from owner) last summer. My hair looked like a long shag with uneven layering in the back and on the sides. This cut took over 1 year to straighten out. Also, I was pressured into getting a blonde toner over my blonde highlights (from another salon). My hair came out brown instead. Great Atmosphere, I love the Dry-Cut Method! – I got my haircut at Maksou last night and I love it. Lindsay cut my hair..it's exactly what I wanted..I've been looking for a new stylist for a year now..and I've had no luck...Lindsay was very friendly, listened to what I wanted and gave me a haircut I love and it's really easy to style. Good haircut – I had an appointment with Lindsay and the results were great. The staff was very friendly (although the receptionist was somewhat spacey). Highly recommended, and a great deal if you use the Citysearch coupon for the first time customers.
I finally Love My Hair! – Everywhere I go, hair stylists tell me that I have "difficult" hair. So I never thought my hair could look any better. But after reading about Charles in the Metro Newspaper, I decided to try his infamous dry-cut. My hair has never looked better. Go see Tony Madi – I used to go to Maksou for years. The reason I don't go there now is because I've moved out of state. I was very happy with my haircuts (and occasional color & highlight treatments) from Tony Madi. He was attentive, always listened to me, and offered suggestions when I asked for them.
