I was to be a new patient, they called me Friday to verify that I have an appointment for Monday at 10:30. And informed about canceling without 24 notice would result in a fine for wasted time. I received a call at 10:11 while pulling up, that (inexact quote) the office assistant had a family emergency and would I like to reschedule. I said I'm pulling in I urgently need to speak to the psychiatrist. 'He's not seeing patients today sorry' we can reschedule for monday. I refused. Disappointment.
Worst experience of my life. Had to go to ER as he failed to get my script to CVS. Don't waste your time, money or dignity
Dr. Chavason was my Psychiatrist at Green Oaks Hospital in January of 2016. His bedside manner was deplorable and his concern for my care was severely lacking. He trivialized the traumatic events that brought me to the hospital in the first place and never spent more than 3 minutes during his daily visits with me. He did not help me understand my rights as a patient and would not elaborate on my course of treatment or reasons for the length of time he kept me admitted.
