Would not recommend for appraisal, a waste of your money. Our house showed well and had 4 offers over asking in 3 days. At appraisal, Chaussee came in 6k less than asking! We are currently evaluating all our options, including pulling out the home sale, due to this appraisal. Looking at the report, Chaussee did little to take the instant interest the house received upon listing into account. This company takes forever just appraise a property. If anyone wants to sell your house don't use them they take a long time to get results.
...if you want an appraiser who looks at details and who does there home work and understands what they are looking at, then don't go with this company.We remodeled our entire home even our 350 sqft cottage in the back...during remodel our property appraised for $12000 higher then when finished...WHAT!..this is terrible,did'nt take into account we had a cottage and wouldnt listen to anything we had to say ...so it really cost us on our refi....very arrogant and lacked professionalism...you need to be re-schooled..!
